Description2-(4B,8,8-trimethyl-2,3,4,4a,4b,5,6,7,8,8a,9,10-dodecahydrophenanthren-2-ylidene)acetic acid belongs to the class of organic compounds known as hydrophenanthrenes. These are a phenanthrene derivative where at least one ring CC bond is substituted by hydrogenation. (4b,8,8-trimethyl-4,4a,5,6,7,8a,9,10-octahydro-3h-phenanthren-2-ylidene)acetic acid is found in Perityle emoryi. Based on a literature review very few articles have been published on 2-(4b,8,8-trimethyl-2,3,4,4a,4b,5,6,7,8,8a,9,10-dodecahydrophenanthren-2-ylidene)acetic acid.
