| Description | (2E)-5-[(1S,2S,4aR,8aR)-2-{[(2R,3S,4R,5S)-4-(acetyloxy)-3,5-dihydroxyoxan-2-yl]oxy}-2,5,5,8a-tetramethyl-decahydronaphthalen-1-yl]-3-methylpent-2-en-1-yl acetate belongs to the class of organic compounds known as diterpenoids. These are terpene compounds formed by four isoprene units. (2e)-5-[(1s,2s,4ar,8ar)-2-{[(2r,3s,4r,5s)-4-(acetyloxy)-3,5-dihydroxyoxan-2-yl]oxy}-2,5,5,8a-tetramethyl-hexahydro-1h-naphthalen-1-yl]-3-methylpent-2-en-1-yl acetate is found in Baccharis salicifolia.
