| Description | 4-Methyl-1-[(7S)-4,5,6,7-tetrahydro-7-methylbenzofuran-7-yl]-7-(3-furyl)-1,4-heptadiene belongs to the class of organic compounds known as benzofurans. These are organic compounds containing a benzene ring fused to a furan. Furan is a five-membered aromatic ring with four carbon atoms and one oxygen atom. (7s)-7-[(1e,4e)-7-(furan-3-yl)-4-methylhepta-1,4-dien-1-yl]-7-methyl-5,6-dihydro-4h-1-benzofuran is found in Fasciospongia cavernosa. Based on a literature review very few articles have been published on 4-Methyl-1-[(7S)-4,5,6,7-tetrahydro-7-methylbenzofuran-7-yl]-7-(3-furyl)-1,4-heptadiene. |
