| Description | [(2S,3R,4E,8E,10E)-2-[[(R)-2-Hydroxyheptadecanoyl]amino]-3-hydroxy-9-methyl-4,8,10-octadecatrienyl]beta-D-glucopyranoside belongs to the class of organic compounds known as glycosyl-n-acylsphingosines. Glycosyl-N-acylsphingosines are compounds containing a sphingosine linked to a simple glucosyl moiety. Thus, [(2S,3R,4E,8E,10E)-2-[[(R)-2-hydroxyheptadecanoyl]amino]-3-hydroxy-9-methyl-4,8,10-octadecatrienyl]beta-D-glucopyranoside is considered to be a neutral glycosphingolipid. (2r)-2-hydroxy-n-[(2s,3r,4e,8e,10e)-3-hydroxy-9-methyl-1-{[(2r,3r,4s,5s,6r)-3,4,5-trihydroxy-6-(hydroxymethyl)oxan-2-yl]oxy}octadeca-4,8,10-trien-2-yl]heptadecanimidic acid is found in Phallusia fumigata. Based on a literature review very few articles have been published on [(2S,3R,4E,8E,10E)-2-[[(R)-2-Hydroxyheptadecanoyl]amino]-3-hydroxy-9-methyl-4,8,10-octadecatrienyl]beta-D-glucopyranoside. |
