DescriptionGlycyrrhizaisoflavone B belongs to the class of organic compounds known as pyranoisoflavonoids. These are isoflavonoids that contain a pyran ring fused to either of the A, B, or C ring of the isoflavonoid skeleton. Glycyrrhizaisoflavone B is an extremely weak basic (essentially neutral) compound (based on its pKa). Outside of the human body, Glycyrrhizaisoflavone B has been detected, but not quantified in, root vegetables. glycyrrhiza isoflavone b is found in Glycyrrhiza uralensis. This could make glycyrrhizaisoflavone b a potential biomarker for the consumption of these foods.
