Description2-Amino-N-[3-(dichloromethyl)-5,6,8-trihydroxy-3-methyl-1-oxo-3,4,4a,5,6,7-hexahydro-1H-2-benzopyran-4-yl]propanimidic acid belongs to the class of organic compounds known as benzopyrans. These are organic compounds containing a benzene ring fused to a pyran ring. Pyran a six-membered heterocyclic, non-aromatic ring, made up of five carbon atoms and one oxygen atom and containing two double bonds. 2-Amino-N-[3-(dichloromethyl)-5,6,8-trihydroxy-3-methyl-1-oxo-3,4,4a,5,6,7-hexahydro-1H-2-benzopyran-4-yl]propanimidic acid is a very strong basic compound (based on its pKa).
