These are terpenes composed of five consecutive isoprene units. 3-[(3s,3as,4r,5ar,6s,7s,9ar,9br)-3-[(2s,4e)-2,6-dihydroxy-6-methylhept-4-en-2-yl]-4-hydroxy-6,9a,9b-trimethyl-7-(prop-1-en-2-yl)-decahydrocyclopenta[a]naphthalen-6-yl]propanoic acid is found in Alnus japonica. Based on a literature review very few articles have been published on 3-[(3S,3aS,4R,5aR,6S,7S,9aR,9bR)-3-[(2S,4E)-2,6-dihydroxy-6-methylhept-4-en-2-yl]-4-hydroxy-6,9a,9b-trimethyl-7-(prop-1-en-2-yl)-dodecahydro-1H-cyclopenta[a]naphthalen-6-yl]propanoic acid. |
