| Description | 2-(3,5-Dimethoxyphenyl)-7-methoxy-3,4-dihydro-2H-1-benzopyran-5-ol belongs to the class of organic compounds known as 7-o-methylated flavonoids. These are flavonoids with methoxy groups attached to the C7 atom of the flavonoid backbone. Thus, 2-(3,5-dimethoxyphenyl)-7-methoxy-3,4-dihydro-2H-1-benzopyran-5-ol is considered to be a flavonoid lipid molecule. 2-(3,5-dimethoxyphenyl)-7-methoxy-3,4-dihydro-2h-1-benzopyran-5-ol is found in Cyperus conglomeratus. 2-(3,5-Dimethoxyphenyl)-7-methoxy-3,4-dihydro-2H-1-benzopyran-5-ol is a very hydrophobic molecule, practically insoluble (in water), and relatively neutral. |
