| Description | Przewalskinine belongs to the class of organic compounds known as aporphines. These are quinoline alkaloids containing the dibenzo[de,g]quinoline ring system or a dehydrogenated derivative thereof. (9s)-5-(2,4-dimethoxy-5-{[(6r)-4-methoxy-7-methyl-2h,6h,8h,9h-[1,3]dioxolo[4,5-f]isoquinolin-6-yl]methyl}phenoxy)-4,14,15,16-tetramethoxy-10-methyl-10-azatetracyclo[7.7.1.0²,⁷.0¹³,¹⁷]heptadeca-1(16),2(7),3,5,13(17),14-hexaene is found in Thalictrum przewalskii. (9s)-5-(2,4-dimethoxy-5-{[(6r)-4-methoxy-7-methyl-2h,6h,8h,9h-[1,3]dioxolo[4,5-f]isoquinolin-6-yl]methyl}phenoxy)-4,14,15,16-tetramethoxy-10-methyl-10-azatetracyclo[7.7.1.0²,⁷.0¹³,¹⁷]heptadeca-1(16),2(7),3,5,13(17),14-hexaene was first documented in 1998 (PMID: 17253231). Based on a literature review very few articles have been published on Przewalskinine. |
