| Description | (4AS)-3-(beta-D-Glucopyranosyloxy)-4,8aalpha-dimethyl-6alpha-[1-methyl-1-(beta-D-glucopyranosyloxy)ethyl]-1,2,4aalpha,5,6,7,8,8a-octahydronaphthalene-2-one belongs to the class of organic compounds known as terpene glycosides. These are prenol lipids containing a carbohydrate moiety glycosidically bound to a terpene backbone. (4as,6r,8as)-4,8a-dimethyl-3-{[(2s,3r,4s,5s,6r)-3,4,5-trihydroxy-6-(hydroxymethyl)oxan-2-yl]oxy}-6-(2-{[(2s,3r,4s,5s,6r)-3,4,5-trihydroxy-6-(hydroxymethyl)oxan-2-yl]oxy}propan-2-yl)-1,4a,5,6,7,8-hexahydronaphthalen-2-one is found in Atractylodes lancea. Based on a literature review very few articles have been published on (4aS)-3-(beta-D-Glucopyranosyloxy)-4,8aalpha-dimethyl-6alpha-[1-methyl-1-(beta-D-glucopyranosyloxy)ethyl]-1,2,4aalpha,5,6,7,8,8a-octahydronaphthalene-2-one. |
