| Common Name | (4r,4ar,5s,6s)-4,5-dihydroxy-3,4a,5-trimethyl-4h,6h,7h,9h-naphtho[2,3-b]furan-6-yl (2z)-2-methylbut-2-enoate |
|---|
| Description | (4R)-4,4a,5,6,7,9-Hexahydro-3,4abeta,5beta-trimethylnaphtho[2,3-b]furan-4beta,5alpha,6beta-triol 6-[(Z)-2-methyl-2-butenoate] belongs to the class of organic compounds known as eremophilane, 8,9-secoeremophilane and furoeremophilane sesquiterpenoids. These are sesquiterpenoids with a structure based either on the eremophilane skeleton, its 8,9-seco derivative, or the furoeremophilane skeleton. Eremophilanes have been shown to be derived from eudesmanes by migration of the methyl group at C-10 to C-5. Based on a literature review very few articles have been published on (4R)-4,4a,5,6,7,9-Hexahydro-3,4abeta,5beta-trimethylnaphtho[2,3-b]furan-4beta,5alpha,6beta-triol 6-[(Z)-2-methyl-2-butenoate]. |
