DescriptionMaritimetin 6-o-(3'',6''-di-o-acetylglucoside) belongs to the class of organic compounds known as aurone o-glycosides. These are aurone flavonoids containing a carbohydrate moiety O-glycosidically bound to the aurone skeleton. Thus, maritimetin 6-O-(3'',6''-di-O-acetylglucoside) is considered to be a flavonoid. [(2r,3r,4s,5r,6s)-4-(acetyloxy)-6-{[(2z)-2-[(3,4-dihydroxyphenyl)methylidene]-7-hydroxy-3-oxo-1-benzofuran-6-yl]oxy}-3,5-dihydroxyoxan-2-yl]methyl acetate is found in Bidens bipinnata. Based on a literature review very few articles have been published on Maritimetin 6-o-(3'',6''-di-o-acetylglucoside).
