| Description | 4Alpha,4aalpha-Dimethyl-6beta-isopropenyl-7-(beta-D-glucopyranosyloxy)-4,4a,5,6-tetrahydronaphthalene-2(3H)-one belongs to the class of organic compounds known as terpene glycosides. These are prenol lipids containing a carbohydrate moiety glycosidically bound to a terpene backbone. (4s,4ar,6s)-4,4a-dimethyl-6-(prop-1-en-2-yl)-7-{[(2s,3r,4s,5s,6r)-3,4,5-trihydroxy-6-(hydroxymethyl)oxan-2-yl]oxy}-3,4,5,6-tetrahydronaphthalen-2-one is found in Ligularia virgaurea. Based on a literature review very few articles have been published on 4alpha,4aalpha-Dimethyl-6beta-isopropenyl-7-(beta-D-glucopyranosyloxy)-4,4a,5,6-tetrahydronaphthalene-2(3H)-one. |
