| Description | 3Beta-Acetoxy-13beta,16alpha-dihydroxyoleanane-28-oic acid gamma-lactone, also known as 3β-acetoxy-13β,16α-dihydroxyoleanane-28-Oate γ-lactone, belongs to the class of organic compounds known as triterpenoids. These are terpene molecules containing six isoprene units. (1r,2r,4s,5r,8r,10s,13r,14r,17s,18r)-2-hydroxy-4,5,9,9,13,20,20-heptamethyl-23-oxo-24-oxahexacyclo[15.5.2.0¹,¹⁸.0⁴,¹⁷.0⁵,¹⁴.0⁸,¹³]tetracosan-10-yl acetate is found in Embelia schimperi. Based on a literature review very few articles have been published on 3beta-Acetoxy-13beta,16alpha-dihydroxyoleanane-28-oic acid gamma-lactone. |
