These are steroids with a structure based on the 21-carbon pregnane skeleton. (2r,6r)-2-{[(1r,3as,3br,7s,9ar,9bs,11as)-1-hydroxy-1-[(1s)-1-hydroxyethyl]-9a,11a-dimethyl-2h,3h,3ah,3bh,4h,6h,7h,8h,9h,9bh,10h,11h-cyclopenta[a]phenanthren-7-yl]oxy}-4-methoxy-6-methyl-2,6-dihydropyran-3-one is found in Periploca sepium. Based on a literature review very few articles have been published on (2R,6R)-2-{[(1S,2R,5S,10R,11S,14R,15S)-14-hydroxy-14-[(1S)-1-hydroxyethyl]-2,15-dimethyltetracyclo[8.7.0.0²,⁷.0¹¹,¹⁵]Heptadec-7-en-5-yl]oxy}-4-methoxy-6-methyl-3,6-dihydro-2H-pyran-3-one. |
