Description2-(2,3-Dihydroxyphenyl)-N-hydroxy-N-[2-(1H-imidazol-5-yl)ethyl]-1,3-thiazole-4-carboxamide belongs to the class of organic compounds known as thiazolecarboxamides. These are heterocyclic compounds containing a thiazole ring which bears a carboxylic acid amide group. 2-(2,3-dihydroxyphenyl)-n-hydroxy-n-[2-(3h-imidazol-4-yl)ethyl]-1,3-thiazole-4-carboxamide is found in Vibrio anguillarum. 2-(2,3-Dihydroxyphenyl)-N-hydroxy-N-[2-(1H-imidazol-5-yl)ethyl]-1,3-thiazole-4-carboxamide is a very strong basic compound (based on its pKa).
