Description | Kaempferol 3-glucosyl-(1->2)-[glucosyl-(1->3)-rhamnoside] belongs to the class of organic compounds known as flavonoid-3-o-glycosides. These are phenolic compounds containing a flavonoid moiety which is O-glycosidically linked to carbohydrate moiety at the C3-position. Thus, kaempferol 3-glucosyl-(1->2)-[glucosyl-(1->3)-rhamnoside] is considered to be a flavonoid. 5,7-dihydroxy-3-{[(2s,3r,4r,5s,6s)-5-hydroxy-6-methyl-3,4-bis({[(2s,3r,4s,5s,6r)-3,4,5-trihydroxy-6-(hydroxymethyl)oxan-2-yl]oxy})oxan-2-yl]oxy}-2-(4-hydroxyphenyl)chromen-4-one is found in Crocus speciosus. Based on a literature review very few articles have been published on Kaempferol 3-glucosyl-(1->2)-[glucosyl-(1->3)-rhamnoside]. |
