| Description | (3S,7S,11S)-7,11-dihydroxy-6-[(2R,6S)-7-hydroxy-6-methylheptan-2-yl]-3-methyl-2-oxatricyclo[7.4.0.0³,⁷]Trideca-1(9),5-dien-10-one belongs to the class of organic compounds known as sesquiterpenoids. These are terpenes with three consecutive isoprene units. (3s,7s,11s)-7,11-dihydroxy-6-[(2r,6s)-7-hydroxy-6-methylheptan-2-yl]-3-methyl-2-oxatricyclo[7.4.0.0³,⁷]trideca-1(9),5-dien-10-one is found in Alternaria alternata and Maytenus hookeri. Based on a literature review very few articles have been published on (3S,7S,11S)-7,11-dihydroxy-6-[(2R,6S)-7-hydroxy-6-methylheptan-2-yl]-3-methyl-2-oxatricyclo[7.4.0.0³,⁷]Trideca-1(9),5-dien-10-one. |
