| Description | 2-(3,4-Dihydroxyphenyl)-5-[(2R,3R,4S)-2-(3,4-dihydroxyphenyl)-3,7,8-trihydroxy-3,4-dihydro-2H-1-benzopyran-4-yl]-3,7,8-trihydroxy-4H-chromen-4-one belongs to the class of organic compounds known as flavonols. Flavonols are compounds that contain a flavone (2-phenyl-1-benzopyran-4-one) backbone carrying a hydroxyl group at the 3-position. 2-(3,4-dihydroxyphenyl)-5-[(2r,3r,4s)-2-(3,4-dihydroxyphenyl)-3,7,8-trihydroxy-3,4-dihydro-2h-1-benzopyran-4-yl]-3,7,8-trihydroxychromen-4-one is found in Senegalia nigrescens. Based on a literature review very few articles have been published on 2-(3,4-dihydroxyphenyl)-5-[(2R,3R,4S)-2-(3,4-dihydroxyphenyl)-3,7,8-trihydroxy-3,4-dihydro-2H-1-benzopyran-4-yl]-3,7,8-trihydroxy-4H-chromen-4-one. |
