Description3-Hydroxy-2-{[3,4,5-trihydroxy-6-(hydroxymethyl)oxan-2-yl]oxy}propyl 3-(3,4-dihydroxyphenyl)prop-2-enoate belongs to the class of organic compounds known as glycosylglycerols. These are glycerolipids structurally characterized by the presence of one or more sugar residues attached to glycerol via a glycosidic linkage. 3-hydroxy-2-{[3,4,5-trihydroxy-6-(hydroxymethyl)oxan-2-yl]oxy}propyl 3-(3,4-dihydroxyphenyl)prop-2-enoate is found in Lilium mackliniae. 3-Hydroxy-2-{[3,4,5-trihydroxy-6-(hydroxymethyl)oxan-2-yl]oxy}propyl 3-(3,4-dihydroxyphenyl)prop-2-enoate is an extremely weak basic (essentially neutral) compound (based on its pKa).
