These are sterol lipids containing a carbohydrate moiety glycosidically linked to the steroid skeleton. (2s,3r,4s,5s,6r)-2-{[(2r,3r,4s,5s,6r)-4,5-dihydroxy-2-{[1-(1-hydroxy-5-methylhex-4-en-1-yl)-9a-(hydroxymethyl)-3a,3b,6,6-tetramethyl-dodecahydro-1h-cyclopenta[a]phenanthren-7-yl]oxy}-6-(hydroxymethyl)oxan-3-yl]oxy}-6-(hydroxymethyl)oxane-3,4,5-triol is found in Gynostemma pentaphyllum. Based on a literature review very few articles have been published on (2S,3R,4S,5S,6R)-2-{[(2R,3R,4S,5S,6R)-4,5-dihydroxy-2-{[14-(1-hydroxy-5-methylhex-4-en-1-yl)-2-(hydroxymethyl)-6,6,10,11-tetramethyltetracyclo[8.7.0.0²,⁷.0¹¹,¹⁵]Heptadecan-5-yl]oxy}-6-(hydroxymethyl)oxan-3-yl]oxy}-6-(hydroxymethyl)oxane-3,4,5-triol. |
