Description(2R)-1-{2,4-dihydroxy-3-[(2S,3R,4S,5R)-3,4,5-trihydroxyoxan-2-yl]phenyl}-3-(3,4-dihydroxyphenyl)-2-hydroxypropan-1-one belongs to the class of organic compounds known as 2'-hydroxy-dihydrochalcones. These are organic compounds containing dihydrochalcone skeleton that carries a hydroxyl group at the 2'-position. (2r)-1-{2,4-dihydroxy-3-[(2s,3r,4s,5r)-3,4,5-trihydroxyoxan-2-yl]phenyl}-3-(3,4-dihydroxyphenyl)-2-hydroxypropan-1-one is found in Eysenhardtia polystachya. Based on a literature review very few articles have been published on (2R)-1-{2,4-dihydroxy-3-[(2S,3R,4S,5R)-3,4,5-trihydroxyoxan-2-yl]phenyl}-3-(3,4-dihydroxyphenyl)-2-hydroxypropan-1-one.
