| Description | FILIASPAROSIDE D belongs to the class of organic compounds known as steroidal saponins. These are saponins in which the aglycone moiety is a steroid. The steroidal aglycone is usually a spirostane, furostane, spirosolane, solanidane, or curcubitacin derivative. (2r,3r,4s,5s,6r)-2-[(1'r,2r,2's,4's,5s,7's,8'r,9's,12's,13's,16's,18'r)-5,7',9',13'-tetramethyl-5'-oxaspiro[oxane-2,6'-pentacyclo[10.8.0.0²,⁹.0⁴,⁸.0¹³,¹⁸]icosane]oxy]-6-({[(2s,3r,4s,5s)-3,4,5-trihydroxyoxan-2-yl]oxy}methyl)oxane-3,4,5-triol is found in Asparagus filicinus.
