Description(2R)-2-({hydroxy[2-(3-hydroxyquinolin-2-yl)-1,3-oxazol-4-yl]methylidene}amino)-3-sulfanylpropanoic acid belongs to the class of organic compounds known as n-acyl-alpha amino acids. N-acyl-alpha amino acids are compounds containing an alpha amino acid which bears an acyl group at its terminal nitrogen atom. (2r)-2-({hydroxy[2-(3-hydroxyquinolin-2-yl)-1,3-oxazol-4-yl]methylidene}amino)-3-sulfanylpropanoic acid is found in Streptomyces cyaneofuscatus. Based on a literature review very few articles have been published on (2R)-2-({hydroxy[2-(3-hydroxyquinolin-2-yl)-1,3-oxazol-4-yl]methylidene}amino)-3-sulfanylpropanoic acid.
