| Description | Esculentin Steroid, also known as esculentin, belongs to the class of organic compounds known as steroidal glycosides. These are sterol lipids containing a carbohydrate moiety glycosidically linked to the steroid skeleton. 1-(7-{[5-({5-[(3,5-dihydroxy-4-methoxy-6-methyloxan-2-yl)oxy]-4-methoxy-6-methyloxan-2-yl}oxy)-4-methoxy-6-methyloxan-2-yl]oxy}-2,3a,3b,10,11-pentahydroxy-9a,11a-dimethyl-1h,3h,4h,6h,7h,8h,9h,9bh,10h,11h-cyclopenta[a]phenanthren-2-yl)ethanone is found in Oxystelma esculentum. Based on a literature review very few articles have been published on Esculentin Steroid. |
