Indole is a bicyclic compound consisting of a six-membered benzene ring fused to a five-membered nitrogen-containing pyrrole ring. 1-[(1s)-1-hydroxyethyl]-9h-pyrido[3,4-b]indol-3-ol is found in Ophiocordyceps sphecocephala. Based on a literature review very few articles have been published on Sphecoline A. |
