| Description | Virescenoside R2 belongs to the class of organic compounds known as steroidal glycosides. These are sterol lipids containing a carbohydrate moiety glycosidically linked to the steroid skeleton. (1s,2r,3r,4as,4br,7r,10ar)-7-ethenyl-2,3-dihydroxy-1,4a,7-trimethyl-1-({[(2r,3s,4r,5s,6r)-3,4,5-trihydroxy-6-({[(2s,3r,4s,5s,6r)-3,4,5-trihydroxy-6-(hydroxymethyl)oxan-2-yl]oxy}methyl)oxan-2-yl]oxy}methyl)-2,3,4,4b,5,6,10,10a-octahydrophenanthren-9-one is found in Sagenomella striatispora. Based on a literature review very few articles have been published on Virescenoside R2. |
