| Description | (4AR,8aS,9aR)-3,8a-dimethyl-5-methylidene-2-oxo-2H,4H,4aH,5H,6H,7H,8H,8aH,9H,9aH-naphtho[2,3-b]furan-9a-yl (2E)-3-phenylprop-2-enoate belongs to the class of organic compounds known as eudesmanolides, secoeudesmanolides, and derivatives. These are terpenoids with a structure based on the eudesmanolide (a 3,5a,9-trimethyl-naphtho[1,2-b]furan-2-one derivative) or secoeudesmanolide (a 3,6-dimethyl-5-(pentan-2-yl)-1-benzofuran-2-one derivative) skeleton. (4ar,8as,9ar)-3,8a-dimethyl-5-methylidene-2-oxo-4h,4ah,6h,7h,8h,9h-naphtho[2,3-b]furan-9a-yl (2e)-3-phenylprop-2-enoate is found in Chloranthus japonicus. Based on a literature review very few articles have been published on (4aR,8aS,9aR)-3,8a-dimethyl-5-methylidene-2-oxo-2H,4H,4aH,5H,6H,7H,8H,8aH,9H,9aH-naphtho[2,3-b]furan-9a-yl (2E)-3-phenylprop-2-enoate. |
