These are polycyclic compounds containing a carbohydrate derivative glycosidically linked to a curcubitane nucleus. (1s,3s,4s,6s,7s,8r,11s,12s,15r,16r)-4-hydroxy-7,12,16-trimethyl-15-[(2r)-6-methylhept-5-en-2-yl]-6-{[(2s,3r,4s,5r)-3,4,5-trihydroxyoxan-2-yl]oxy}pentacyclo[9.7.0.0¹,³.0³,⁸.0¹²,¹⁶]octadecane-7-carboxylic acid is found in Combretum molle.
