DescriptionN-[3-(4-hydroxyphenyl)-1-methoxy-1-oxopropan-2-yl]-4,6-dimethyldodeca-2,4-dienimidic acid belongs to the class of organic compounds known as tyrosine and derivatives. Tyrosine and derivatives are compounds containing tyrosine or a derivative thereof resulting from reaction of tyrosine at the amino group or the carboxy group, or from the replacement of any hydrogen of glycine by a heteroatom. n-[3-(4-hydroxyphenyl)-1-methoxy-1-oxopropan-2-yl]-4,6-dimethyldodeca-2,4-dienimidic acid is found in Halichondria japonica. N-[3-(4-hydroxyphenyl)-1-methoxy-1-oxopropan-2-yl]-4,6-dimethyldodeca-2,4-dienimidic acid is an extremely weak basic (essentially neutral) compound (based on its pKa).
