| Description | 7A-hydroxy-3,4,5a,8,8,11a-hexamethyl-1,5a,6,7,7a,8,9,10,11,11a,11b,12-dodecahydro-2,5-dioxatetraphene-1,9-dione belongs to the class of organic compounds known as naphthopyrans. Naphthopyrans are compounds containing a pyran ring fused to a naphthalene moiety. Furan is a 6 membered-ring non-aromatic ring with five carbon and one oxygen atoms. Naphthalene is a polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbon made up of two fused benzene rings. 7a-hydroxy-3,4,5a,8,8,11a-hexamethyl-6,7,10,11,11b,12-hexahydro-2,5-dioxatetraphene-1,9-dione is found in Aspergillus flocculosus. Based on a literature review very few articles have been published on 7a-hydroxy-3,4,5a,8,8,11a-hexamethyl-1,5a,6,7,7a,8,9,10,11,11a,11b,12-dodecahydro-2,5-dioxatetraphene-1,9-dione. |
