| Description | Semivioxanthin 9-O-(6-O-beta-D-glucopyranosyl-beta-D-glucopyranoside) belongs to the class of organic compounds known as naphthopyranone glycosides. Naphthopyranone glycosides are compounds containing a carbohydrate moiety glycosidically linked to a naphthopyranone moiety. (3r)-10-hydroxy-7-methoxy-3-methyl-9-{[(2s,3r,4s,5s,6r)-3,4,5-trihydroxy-6-({[(2r,3r,4s,5s,6r)-3,4,5-trihydroxy-6-(hydroxymethyl)oxan-2-yl]oxy}methyl)oxan-2-yl]oxy}-3h,4h-naphtho[2,3-c]pyran-1-one is found in Eriocaulon buergerianum and Paepalanthus latipes. Based on a literature review very few articles have been published on Semivioxanthin 9-O-(6-O-beta-D-glucopyranosyl-beta-D-glucopyranoside). |
