These are sesquiterpenoids having the germacrane skeleton, with a structure characterized by a cyclodecane ring substituted with an isopropyl and two methyl groups. (9s)-6-(hydroxymethyl)-9-(2-hydroxypropan-2-yl)-2-methylidenecyclodecan-1-ol is found in Trichilia claussenii. Based on a literature review very few articles have been published on (9S)-6-(hydroxymethyl)-9-(2-hydroxypropan-2-yl)-2-methylidenecyclodecan-1-ol. |
