| Description | Fraxiformoside belongs to the class of organic compounds known as terpene glycosides. These are prenol lipids containing a carbohydrate moiety glycosidically bound to a terpene backbone. 2-(4-hydroxyphenyl)ethyl (4s,5e,6s)-5-ethylidene-4-{2-[4-(2-hydroxyethyl)phenoxy]-2-oxoethyl}-6-{[(2s,3r,4s,5s,6r)-3,4,5-trihydroxy-6-(hydroxymethyl)oxan-2-yl]oxy}-4,6-dihydropyran-3-carboxylate is found in Fraxinus formosana, Fraxinus malacophylla and Syringa persica. Based on a literature review very few articles have been published on Fraxiformoside. |
