| Description | 2-(2,6-Dihydroxyphenyl)-5-hydroxy-8-(2-isopropenyl-5-methyl-hex-4-enyl)-7-methoxy-chromen-4-one belongs to the class of organic compounds known as 8-prenylated flavones. These are flavones that features a C5-isoprenoid substituent at the 8-position. 2-(2,6-dihydroxyphenyl)-5-hydroxy-7-methoxy-8-[5-methyl-2-(prop-1-en-2-yl)hex-4-en-1-yl]chromen-4-one is found in Artemisia indica. Based on a literature review very few articles have been published on 2-(2,6-dihydroxyphenyl)-5-hydroxy-8-(2-isopropenyl-5-methyl-hex-4-enyl)-7-methoxy-chromen-4-one. |
