DescriptionAC1NQMER belongs to the class of organic compounds known as protoberberine alkaloids and derivatives. These are alkaloids with a structure based on a protoberberine moiety, which consists of a 5,6-dihydrodibenzene moiety fused to a quinolizinium and forming 5,6-Dihydrodibenzo(a,g)quinolizinium skeleton. 3,4,10,11-tetramethoxy-5-(trichloromethyl)-7,8-dihydro-5h-6-azatetraphene is found in Annickia polycarpa, Berberis integerrima, Berberis lycium and Fibraurea tinctoria. AC1NQMER is an extremely weak basic (essentially neutral) compound (based on its pKa).
