| Description | (1S,5S,7R,8S,10R)-14-acetoxy-4-oxopseudoguai-11(13)-en-12,8-olide belongs to the class of organic compounds known as ambrosanolides and secoambrosanolides. These are sesquiterpene lactones from the Ambrosia family, with a backbone derivative of azuleno[6,5-b]furan-2-one (ambrosanolides) or azuleno[4,5-b]furan-2-one (secoambrosanolides). [(3ar,4as,7as,8r,9as)-4a-methyl-3-methylidene-2,5-dioxo-octahydroazuleno[6,5-b]furan-8-yl]methyl acetate is found in Inula hupehensis. Based on a literature review very few articles have been published on (1S,5S,7R,8S,10R)-14-acetoxy-4-oxopseudoguai-11(13)-en-12,8-olide. |
