| Description | Chrysanthguaianolactone A belongs to the class of organic compounds known as guaianolides and derivatives. These are diterpene lactones with a structure characterized by the presence of a gamma-lactone fused to a guaiane, forming 3,6,9-trimethyl-azuleno[4,5-b]furan-2-one or a derivative. (1r,2s,5s,6r,7s,10s,12r,14s)-10-hydroxy-5,9,14-trimethyl-4-oxo-3,13-dioxatetracyclo[8.4.0.0²,⁶.0¹²,¹⁴]tetradec-8-en-7-yl (2z)-2-methylbut-2-enoate is found in Chrysanthemum indicum. Based on a literature review very few articles have been published on Chrysanthguaianolactone A. |
