Hydroxysteroids are compounds containing an steroid backbone, with at least one hydrogen substituted by a hydroxyl group. 1-(hydroxymethyl)-7-isopropyl-1,4a-dimethyl-2,3,4,9,10,10a-hexahydrophenanthrene-2,6-diol is found in Torreya nucifera. Based on a literature review very few articles have been published on 1-(hydroxymethyl)-1,4a-dimethyl-7-(propan-2-yl)-1,2,3,4,4a,9,10,10a-octahydrophenanthrene-2,6-diol. |
