These are flavans that features a C5-isoprenoid substituent at the 3-position. 9-(3,4-dihydroxyphenyl)-10-(4-hydroxy-2-methoxyphenyl)-7-methyl-8,9,9a,10-tetrahydro-5bh-1,11-dioxatetraphen-2-one is found in Brosimum rubescens. Based on a literature review very few articles have been published on 9-(3,4-dihydroxyphenyl)-10-(4-hydroxy-2-methoxyphenyl)-7-methyl-2,5b,8,9,9a,10-hexahydro-1,11-dioxatetraphen-2-one. |
