| Description | Leviusculoside J belongs to the class of organic compounds known as steroidal glycosides. These are sterol lipids containing a carbohydrate moiety glycosidically linked to the steroid skeleton. (1r,2r,3r,3as,3bs,5r,7s,9ar,9br,11ar)-7-{[(2s,3r,4s,5r)-5-hydroxy-3,4-dimethoxyoxan-2-yl]oxy}-1-[(2r,3e)-7-hydroxy-5-methylhept-3-en-2-yl]-9a,11a-dimethyl-1h,2h,3h,3ah,4h,5h,7h,8h,9h,9bh,10h,11h-cyclopenta[a]phenanthrene-2,3,3b,5-tetrol is found in Henricia leviuscula. (1r,2r,3r,3as,3bs,5r,7s,9ar,9br,11ar)-7-{[(2s,3r,4s,5r)-5-hydroxy-3,4-dimethoxyoxan-2-yl]oxy}-1-[(2r,3e)-7-hydroxy-5-methylhept-3-en-2-yl]-9a,11a-dimethyl-1h,2h,3h,3ah,4h,5h,7h,8h,9h,9bh,10h,11h-cyclopenta[a]phenanthrene-2,3,3b,5-tetrol was first documented in 2006 (PMID: 16499320). Based on a literature review very few articles have been published on Leviusculoside J. |
