| Description | 4-[2-(Furan-3-yl)ethenyl]-2-hydroxy-3,4a,8,8-tetramethyl-1,4,4a,5,6,7,8,8a-octahydronaphthalen-1-one belongs to the class of organic compounds known as colensane and clerodane diterpenoids. These are diterpenoids with a structure based on the clerodane or the colensane skeleton. Clerodanes arise from labdanes by two methyl migrations. 4-[2-(furan-3-yl)ethenyl]-2-hydroxy-3,4a,8,8-tetramethyl-5,6,7,8a-tetrahydro-4h-naphthalen-1-one is found in Hedychium coronarium and Hedychium spicatum. Based on a literature review very few articles have been published on 4-[2-(furan-3-yl)ethenyl]-2-hydroxy-3,4a,8,8-tetramethyl-1,4,4a,5,6,7,8,8a-octahydronaphthalen-1-one. |
