These are organic compounds with a structure characterized by an isoquinoline moiety linked to phthalide. 10-(6,7-dimethoxy-2-methyl-3,4-dihydro-1h-isoquinolin-1-yl)-3,5,11-trioxatricyclo[7.3.0.0²,⁶]dodeca-1(9),2(6),7-trien-12-one is found in Adlumia fungosa, Cocculus laurifolius, Corydalis cava, Corydalis nobilis, Corydalis ophiocarpa, Corydalis scouleri, Capnoides sempervirens, Fumaria densiflora, Fumaria officinalis, Fumaria parviflora and Fumaria vaillantii. Corlumine is a very strong basic compound (based on its pKa). |
