Description6,8-Dihydroxy-3-[(8S)-8-hydroxynon-5-en-1-yl]-1H-isochromen-1-one belongs to the class of organic compounds known as isocoumarins and derivatives. These are polycyclic compounds containing an isochromane which bears a ketone at the carbon C1. 6,8-dihydroxy-3-[(8s)-8-hydroxynon-5-en-1-yl]isochromen-1-one is found in Melia azedarach. Based on a literature review very few articles have been published on 6,8-dihydroxy-3-[(8S)-8-hydroxynon-5-en-1-yl]-1H-isochromen-1-one.
