| Description | (2Z)-5-[(1R,4R,6R,10S,12R)-4,12-dimethyl-9-methylidene-5-oxatricyclo[8.2.0.0⁴,⁶]Dodecan-12-yl]-2-methyl-5-oxopent-2-en-1-yl acetate belongs to the class of organic compounds known as xeniaphyllane and xenicane diterpenoids. These are diterpenoids with a structure based either on the xeniaphyllane or the xenicane skeleton. (2z)-5-[(1r,4r,6r,10s,12r)-4,12-dimethyl-9-methylidene-5-oxatricyclo[8.2.0.0⁴,⁶]dodecan-12-yl]-2-methyl-5-oxopent-2-en-1-yl acetate is found in Sinularia gibberosa. Based on a literature review very few articles have been published on (2Z)-5-[(1R,4R,6R,10S,12R)-4,12-dimethyl-9-methylidene-5-oxatricyclo[8.2.0.0⁴,⁶]Dodecan-12-yl]-2-methyl-5-oxopent-2-en-1-yl acetate. |
