These are diterpenoids with a structure based on the clerodane or the colensane skeleton. Clerodanes arise from labdanes by two methyl migrations. (1r,4as,4bs,7r,8s,8as,10as)-8-(6-hydroxy-1h-indol-3-yl)-1,4b,7,8,10a-pentamethyl-decahydrophenanthren-2-one is found in Aspergillus sulphureus. Based on a literature review very few articles have been published on Radarin A. |
