| Description | (2R)-2-{[2-(3,4-dihydroxyphenyl)-3,5-dihydroxy-4-oxo-4H-chromen-7-yl]oxy}-3,4-dihydroxy-3,4-dihydro-2H-pyran-6-carboxylic acid belongs to the class of organic compounds known as flavonols. Flavonols are compounds that contain a flavone (2-phenyl-1-benzopyran-4-one) backbone carrying a hydroxyl group at the 3-position. (6r)-6-{[2-(3,4-dihydroxyphenyl)-3,5-dihydroxy-4-oxochromen-7-yl]oxy}-4,5-dihydroxy-5,6-dihydro-4h-pyran-2-carboxylic acid is found in Streptomyces rimosus. Based on a literature review very few articles have been published on (2R)-2-{[2-(3,4-dihydroxyphenyl)-3,5-dihydroxy-4-oxo-4H-chromen-7-yl]oxy}-3,4-dihydroxy-3,4-dihydro-2H-pyran-6-carboxylic acid. |
