| Description | 6-Hydroxy-4a,5-dimethyl-3-(1-{[3,4,5-trihydroxy-6-(hydroxymethyl)oxan-2-yl]oxy}propan-2-ylidene)-2,3,4,4a,5,6,7,8-octahydronaphthalen-2-one belongs to the class of organic compounds known as terpene glycosides. These are prenol lipids containing a carbohydrate moiety glycosidically bound to a terpene backbone. 6-hydroxy-4a,5-dimethyl-3-(1-{[3,4,5-trihydroxy-6-(hydroxymethyl)oxan-2-yl]oxy}propan-2-ylidene)-5,6,7,8-tetrahydro-4h-naphthalen-2-one is found in Pittocaulon praecox. Based on a literature review very few articles have been published on 6-hydroxy-4a,5-dimethyl-3-(1-{[3,4,5-trihydroxy-6-(hydroxymethyl)oxan-2-yl]oxy}propan-2-ylidene)-2,3,4,4a,5,6,7,8-octahydronaphthalen-2-one. |
