These are prenol lipids structurally characterized by a bile acid or alcohol which bears four hydroxyl groups. (2r,3s)-2-[(1r,2s,3as,3bs,7r,9ar,9bs,11as)-2,7-dihydroxy-9a,11a-dimethyl-1h,2h,3h,3ah,3bh,4h,6h,7h,8h,9h,9bh,10h,11h-cyclopenta[a]phenanthren-1-yl]-6-methyl-5-methylideneheptane-2,3-diol is found in Melia azedarach. Based on a literature review very few articles have been published on (1S,2R,5R,10S,11S,13S,14R,15S)-14-[(2R,3S)-2,3-dihydroxy-6-methyl-5-methylideneheptan-2-yl]-2,15-dimethyltetracyclo[8.7.0.0²,⁷.0¹¹,¹⁵]Heptadec-7-ene-5,13-diol. |
