| Description | 4',5,5''-Trihydroxy-4''',7''-dimethoxy-7-(beta-D-glucopyranosyloxy)-8,3'''-biflavone belongs to the class of organic compounds known as biflavonoids and polyflavonoids. These are organic compounds containing at least two flavan/flavone units. These units are usually linked through CC or C-O-C bonds. Some examples include C2-O-C3, C2-O-C4, C3'-C3''', and C6-C8''. 5-hydroxy-8-[5-(5-hydroxy-7-methoxy-4-oxochromen-2-yl)-2-methoxyphenyl]-2-(4-hydroxyphenyl)-7-{[(2s,3r,4s,5s,6r)-3,4,5-trihydroxy-6-(hydroxymethyl)oxan-2-yl]oxy}chromen-4-one is found in Ginkgo biloba. Based on a literature review very few articles have been published on 4',5,5''-Trihydroxy-4''',7''-dimethoxy-7-(beta-D-glucopyranosyloxy)-8,3'''-biflavone. |
